Degree College, Hiranagar (Department of Higher Education) UT of Jammu & Kashmir, is organizing ‘Amrit Yuva Kalotsav’- a festival showcasing young artists and the continuum of our myriad performing art genres, traditions and expressions; from 06-08 January, 2023, at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu. A workshop on 'Art Critique' in hybrid mode (Physical & Virtual) will be organized from 07-08 December 2023, at K L Saigal Hall, Jammu.

India is celebrating the 75th year of its independence, and in this joyous occasion, we are commemorating the Amrit Mahotsav of freedom. As part of the celebrations of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Sangeet Natak Akademi is organizing ‘Amrit Yuva Kalotsav’- a series of festivals showcasing the young artists and the continuum of our myriad performing art genres, traditions and expressions. The festival will also include a workshop on Art Critique in which senior experts, art critics, and scholars will participate and share their knowledge acquired through their vast experience.

The event at Imphal is being organized in collaboration with Department of Art and Culture, Manipur.Th e evening presentations will be from 16 to 18 December 2022, 5 pm onwards in Maharaja Chandrakirti Auditorium, Imphal, Manipur. The workshop on Art Critique will be organized on 17 and 18 December 2022, 11 AM to 1 PM in Maharaja Chandrakirti Auditorium, Imphal, Manipur.
