Born on 10 June 1977, Shri Aruna Kumar Malik has a Post Graduate
Diploma in Acting from the National School of Drama, a Masters in Fine
Arts from the Fine Art College of Odisha, B.K. Art College Utkal University,
and a Diploma in Prosthetic Make-up from HibridFx Studio, U.K.
Shri Aruna Kumar Malik has extensive experience in acting, property designing and make-up in the course of his career till date. Some of the plays for which he has contributed in the area of make-up are Chattriya, Blood Fiesta, Macbeth, Bagia Bancha Ram Ki, Raja Tailor Master Urf Daku Suleman, and The Sun Shine Boys, Do Kaudika Khel, Swan Lake, Old Town, Khilona Nagar, Apna Rakh Paraya Chakh, Maulana Azad, Bottoms Up, and Taj Mahal Ka Udghaatan, to name a few.
Shri Aruna Kumar Malik has taught advanced make-up and props classes to first, second, and third-year students at National School of Drama, Delhi. He has also taught the students at the Bangalore, Sikkim, and Tripura chapters of National School of Drama and at their extension department in various parts of the country.
Shri Aruna Kumar Malik is awarded the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar of Sangeet Natak Akademi for 2013-2014 for his notable talent as a make-up artist.
