Anubrata Chatterjee

Shri Anubrata Chatterjee was born on 1st January, 1985 in Kolkata, West Bengal. He received his initail training in Tabla from Jnan Prakash Ghosh, an eminent guru from the Farukhabad gharana. At present, he is receiving advanced training under the tutelage of his father Shri Anindo Chatterjee.
Shri Anubrata Chatterjee has carved a niche for himself as a tabla player early in his life and has performed extensively in music festivals organized by various prestigious organizations in India and abroad. In addition, he has attended many music seminars and workshops. He has numerous recordings to his credit.
In recognition of his talent, he has received several awards including the Vasavaraj Rajguru Award and the Pandit Nikhil Ghosh Memorial Award.
Shri Anubrata Chatterjee is awarded the Ustad Bismillaah Khan Yuva Puraskar of Sangeet Natak Akademi 2015 for his notable talent in the field of Hindustani Instrumental Music.
